Michael Hughart
Senior Account Executive
Michael began his insurance career in 2007 and strives to educate himself to better anticipate the needs of his clients. Most recently, he completed his Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation in late 2017. This designation provided him with the depth of knowledge needed to educate contractors and implement transfer of risk techniques to reduce their exposures.
Michael joined the Kinney Insurance Agency in February of 2018 as a Senior Commercial Account Executive, which he feels has proven to be his best decision to date. It has given him the flexibility and more time to spend with his wife, Bonnie and their two children, Morgan and Joey. He and his family have lived in Essex Junction, Vermont for the last 15 years.
Depending on the season, you may catch them golfing, skiing, boating, paddling or simply just taking in the Vermont summers at either Joe's Pond in Danville or at Lake Bomoseen in Castleton. Michael spent much of his childhood with his family on the Lake and wound up graduating from the local Castleton University in 2002.
